Enjoying Beautiful Seyon Lodge in Groton Vermont
“Everything looks so amazing!”
“You have the best job in the world!”
“This is the most relaxing place I have ever been.”
“This lodge is so big I have to leave myself bread crumbs to find my way back to my room.”
“Seyon Lodge is the best place ever.”
Complimenting last weeks post highlighting the amazing team we have to run Seyon Lodge, this week we got to enjoy the park through the eyes of our guests. The above quotes are a small representation of what people share with us in regards to their impressions of the lodge. Chris’s sister and husband, Michele and Matt and their three kids happened to be able to visit on the one day we had off.
The ‘Inn Keeper is Off’ sign went up on the door and we went out to enjoy our own park. Here’s a look at what we saw:

Michele started the day off with yoga by the pond.
I think all these photos are so amazing I was not able to have any restraint and I put them all in.
I love, love, love this photo. I just can’t stop starring at how powerful an image this is to me.
So yummy.
…and stumps. We couldn’t walk more than twenty feet without Natalya wanted to take a picture of a stump. It took us hours to walk 1.5 miles around the pond.
Chris pretended to be Tom Sawyer.

I see guests sitting on this bridge all the time and I was so excited to have the chance to hang out on here for a while.
These same booking resources are the same exact ones we use to find deals and acquire points for more travel.
I will never recommend to get a credit card unless you are 100% solid to pay it off in full every month. If you will and are going to be making some big purchases, this Chase card is the same exact card we use and it offers great travel points and perks.
Finally, if you have not used AirBnB before, use this special link to sign up and get $40 off your first booking.
Always wonderful to have special visitors, extra nice when it’s family and friends. Educational AND fun at the Park… really nice Bunny Ears on Ranger Chris (good goin’ Cartsen)
It was great to have visitors and especially to just have the chance to enjoy our own park. It’s something rangers often voice the importance of. We can get so caught up in working so hard to ensure everything is pretty for our guests, we often neglect to let ourselves enjoy a sunset once in a while. It was all the better to be able to enjoy everything with family.
Great pics! Looks like you all had a great time! Can’t wait! I love Michelle rockin out in the life jacket!
I loved all those photos Michele was in.
