Oh boy…lots of stuff is happening. Vermont is *just beautiful* right now. I went running down our dirt road thankful for each crunch of gravel I heard beneath my feet. I looked up at the umbrella of green leaves hanging over the road providing me shade. I got into the rhythmic crunching as sweat started dripping down my forehead. This is what life is about and I am so thankful to be living it.
This week a hodgepodge of activity is happening.
You can see a new post about Humberstone – Ghost Town in the Chilean Desert on the We Said Go Travel site. I’ve talked about Humberstone before and it’s worth mentioning again. Plus, there are some different photos in this guest post to check out. 🙂
Also, look forward to another interview coming soon from the Professional Hobo. Nora’s just released her latest book, Tales of Trains: Where the Journey is the Destination and it’s an awesome read. I read a little of it every night before bed and was sad when the book ended. Reading it made me want to drop everything and start riding trains. It is on sale now for $7 bucks! How can you beat that!?
A lot of my tips from last weeks post How to Manage Your Money Abroad were featured at Credit Card Insider, a site designed to help college students make sound money decisions when preparing to study abroad.
And among all this writing, photography (our newest coffee table book with photos of Peru is just about complete – yahoo!), we keep trucking away taking care of our guest here at the lodge.
So life is full of wonderful things, happenings and we are planning as always. Hope all is going groovy in whatever part of the world you may be in and please enjoy this weeks post, Humberstone – Ghost Town in the Chilean Desert.
