Been Remote in Chile

Ah! Sunday went by and Monday is soon passing.

We’re in Southern Patagonia, Argentina and the past two weeks have been non-stop bus travel, bus break downs, hiking into the mountains and being in towns with barely any internet.
Thank you for all the folks commenting and being active with the Vagabond Way. The next post will be coming as soon as we can.
In the mean time here’s three things that have kept us from internet:
Being broke down at this gas station for hours and drinking a bottle of wine. Then also breaking down again.
Chris wanting to spend a lot of time in the flowers. You know he just loves finding those flowers.
Waking up for 5 am hikes to catch the sun rise of the Fitz Roy mountains in Los Glaciares National Park.
Tomorrow we’re off to hike Glaciar Perito Moreno and we’ll have pictures to show and tell you how to do the same as soon as we can! Cheers!

  • Great pics! Looks like everyone is really bundled up! Hard to believe it’s summertime there.

    • It is so windy here. So windy. I can’t remember the last time I have not worn my hat in these days of summer.

  • Thank goodness for wine. Beautiful pic of sjnriss.

  • Great sunrise shot there! Reminds me of the red in Arizona…although no ice there. Yikes. I second the wine. Nice shot of the “flower princess.” Hah.

    • That shot was from a bird sanctuary, Laguna Nimez in El Calafate, Argentina. Those white flowers went around almost the entire perimeter of the water creating this giant white circle. It was pretty neat.

  • Absolutely beautiful pictures!! They look professional!! We just loved hearing from you and seeing you in these pictures! I look forward to the day when you publish your book. Love you, your mom and pop

    • Thanks, we have not even cracked into the Nikon pics yet (oh woe to the net book), just wait till we get back state side! 🙂

    • We cant wait to see the pictures especially since the Pryor’s got a huge 60″ TV screen that will make the pictures really come to life!!!!:)
