Vermont Stories and Birds
Hey Everyone! Oh my goodness, recently life has been a whirl wind of activities in Vermont. We have still been…
…busy taking care of guests…
…making a plan for our lives and…
…taking a lot of bird pictures!
One of the reasons I was so excited to work a winter at Seyon was to have a chance to see all the different birds of the season!
* * *
But this week I wanted to tell you about another sweet website that recently featured both Seyon Lodge and Vagabond Way. Erica Housekeeper runs the site, www.happyvermont.com. About once a week or so, she features a unique story about Vermont. You can read a brief history on Vermont’s One Room School Houses or how the small town of Lincoln, Vermont has a connotation of Sacred Ground.
Given that Seyon Lodge is the only lodge available to the public within Vermont State Parks, it was no surprise that she made her way here to check things out for herself. Thank you to Erica for venturing out here to learn about us and the park.
I hope you enjoy her piece:

Have a great week everyone! Tiff and Chris xo
Beautiful goldfinch photos! A favorite winter bird. And a great post from Erica Housekeeper, you certainly are unique.
Oh thanks. I will really need to set aside some time to sort through all the footage I have been getting of the birds. Feel so luck to have that out my back door. It was so great to meet Erica. She was super nice and inquisitive and I love the job she has made for herself: drive around Vermont, find out about cool things and ask questions, (as well as be a mom). I enjoy following her site now.
