Thank you for Following Vagabond Way!

Hey there and thank you for following Vagabond Way!

Well, I’ve been at this blogging thing a while now. And really, a blog, a website, a book, is nothing without you readers!!!

So one, we wanted to say you’re all AWESOME and thank you for following Vagabond Way!

Thank you for following Vagabond Way

You may have noticed I added some social icons so we can all easily stay in touch! We want to be even more connected! If you know of Seth Godin at all, he’s a remarkable best selling author and talks frequently about how ideas spread, leadership and most of all, changing everything. He’s a huge proponent of having a tribe and talks about that in his new book Tribes: We Need You to Lead Us. A tribe of people you follow, connect with, relate to, support each other in. As writers, artists, entrepreneurs, we strike out to find our own voice, our own style, but ultimately those that succeed are ones that reach out to those around them, ask for help when they need it and make meaningful connections where they can. If I have learned anything over the years, it’s that I don’t need to be an expert in everything. I grew up thinking I could do anything, (thank you parents!) It is probably the best feeling a parent can enable their child to feel, the belief they can do anything they set their mind to. I took that belief at full face value and it has served me well. It’s that mentality that gave me the courage to drive out to Wyoming on the spur of the moment to live on the floor next to a washer and dryer. It given me the courage to study theater, act in plays and win awards for speeches I have given. Above all, it’s given me the courage to believe I can follow my dreams.

From a young age, I was able to at least narrow down three jobs I knew I didn’t want to do: being an astronaut, a doctor or president of the United States of America. As I continue to grown and gain more experience, my focus is narrowing. I know I want to keep developing my writing professionally. I know I want to keep learning the art of photography. I know I enjoy this work in parks and observing wildlife. I can feel bigger picture ideas floating around, still abstractly, but slowly growing in my mind about wildlife, parks, travel, photography and to keep evolving myself and my projects.

There’s lots still forming. Little bit by little bit. But one thing I know I have been wanting to do for ages is take the next step into the social networking scene more. Yahoo!!! I finally did! And I am so excited to share this news with you. ๐Ÿ™‚

For those of you that only read these updates in your email (thank you, thank you, thank you for subscribing to the email updates), you may not be aware of their existence or the circle icons that have appeared on the website’s right hand side bar. So I wanted to make it very easy for you, if you choose and would like, to connect on some other platforms with us.

As I keep nudging my way towards my goals, I am so pleased to invite all you to follow along with us as we post on these other media platforms.

You can click the highlighted links below and thank you for following Vagabond Way:

Facebookย – This is where I have so far been the most active to date. Facebook is awesome in it allows me to feel connected to people, especially when traveling. Thank you everyone for all the interest and support you have already shown in this area. It is much appreciated.

Instagramย – I am so excited to finally be using Instagram! This is happening because of a kindly mentioned ‘nudge, nudge, I really need to do this’ in the comments section from a previous post. Thanks for the encouragement!

Thank you for following Vagabond Way

Twitterย – tweet! tweet! You don’t want to miss this baby zebra. And if anyone would like to offer their expertise on tweeting, I’m all ears.

Thank you for following Vagabond Way

Google+ย – My google+ profile has over 730,000 views. Come on, join the crowd, sometimes it’s good to be a follower.

Thank you for following Vagabond Way

Pinterestย – I still have a bit of work to get going in this area, but at least once I do, you will be one of the first to see! ๐Ÿ™‚

ย You Tubeย – we have so much video to put up. There is just a bigger learning curve here which takes time, but when we do get there, oh man, we got some crazy footage from Africa. This video of a manta ray feeding is from our time on Lady Elliot Island, Australia.

So again, just wanted to say a big, big THANK YOU for following Vagabond Way dear readers. You are the best and we are thankful for each one of you following along with us.

These same booking resources are the same exact ones we use to find deals and acquire points for more travel.
I will never recommend to get a credit card unless you are 100% solid to pay it off in full every month. If you will and are going to be making some big purchases, this Chase card is the same exact card we use and it offers great travel points and perks.
